January 1 2005: The tank is very, very close to what I want; it just needs time to really grow in.
December 19 2004: the tank was almost where I wanted it, although at this point it had only N. similis in it. The Cyps, Unknowns, and Caudopunks arrived a few days later.
Novermber 28: Before the rock the tank lacked a focal point, although I was able to have a wider variety of plants.
October 31: Similar layout but a horrible picture; at this point the tank contains nearly no fish (some cories and one N. brevis, I believe)
October 10: Before I removed the driftwood, not a bad shot of the tank.
August 17: These small Ryukins were added after I lost my beloved goldfish to unexpected paint fumes. I had hoped to be able to bond to them the way I had to Id and Shadowfax but it just wasn't the same and it broke my heart to see them.
August 4: The vals hadn't grown in fully at this point.
July 31: The black background made the tank too dark.
July 28: Mostly just a horrible picture.
April 10: The last picture I have of my beautiful Id. Doesn't he look lovely? You can see this was when I began to implement the idea I had for the tank - the val background, et al.
Late March: The tank looks horrible, the fish beautiful.
Early March: Same deal. Beautiful fish, ugly tank.
Hideous tank, stunning fish.
August 2001: A very different tank indeed.
